Pokemon Project: Sandshrew
Due to various factors, mostly procrastination, this set is finally done. The necklace took a lot more time than I originally thought, and by the time I finished, I was just desperate to get this posted so I could move on to the really fun beads I got for the next two blog posts.
There is the standard commentary about my camera flash being a source of constant problems, but I'll try to have a black background from now on to force it to work. Even when I do the ghost family.
Sandshrew:
I bought these beads from Hobby Lobby. The tan beads came from when I made the Pidgey and Spearow families, and the black beads (Sandshrew's eyes) are ones I always stock up on with every sale. In the middle is a bead from the Weedle family project.
Sandslash:
I used the same Weedle bead for the center of this one, and added some brown from the early birds and the broken necklace that has given me a lot more use than I originally thought. The claws are represented by the chains. This necklace was very hard to do, and I had to fix it twice.
I almost never left the house before quarantine hit, and now even I am losing my mind.
